
Ms. Krumrie has attended art classes at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio and Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. She has also attended various workshops throughout the region.
With a focus on art education and therapeutic art intervention, Ms. Krumrie has served as Art Director, University Instructor, Art Specialist and met the demands of an art educator in traditional Art-Ed classrooms. She has presented graduate workshops and been involved in Art Therapy in geriatric, rehabilitative and psychiatric settings with adults, teens and children.
To meet the wide-ranging needs within her community, Nifodora utilizes her artistic talents to engage all age groups and skill levels. Her experience includes her work within the Juvenile Justice System as well as facilitating art for the senior citizens within her community for over 25 years. As a innovator within her local art community she openly seeks to encourage and develop the creative potential of each individual.
Her own artwork reflects her personal interactions, life’s experiences and travels throughout Europe, the Orient, South America and the Caribbean. Her background and training allows her to work comfortably in a wide variety of two-dimensional medias. Ms. Krumrie’s public art is frequently exhibited. While her more powerful and provocative expressions on both paper and canvas are frequently found to be a part of many private collections.
Nifodora D. Krumrie received her B.F.A. in Art Education, from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has over 50 hours towards her Degree for her Masters of Art in Art Therapy, also from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
